Time to turn the page….and Close the Book!

I just sent one of the last Enewsletters for Denim & Lace. We will be closing our store next week at the Arboretum in Cary, NC. Our customers have become our friends. And we are eternally grateful for you.

Change and evolvement is essential these days…it’s what keeps us “spirited” and “young at heart”.

Our “change” will begin in Raleigh in 2011. We will start a new journey as “Gypsy Jule”. All of the exciting details to follow…we can’t wait to invite you to our new space….it’s gonna be great!!!

Until then…remember to stray from the beaten path, spread good karma…AND hang some colorful lights!!

Fall, Football and Evolving

it’s Saturday, 9/11/2010…a day for remembrance, observance and evolvement. It’s Fall here in NC…or at least it feels like it…time for change…time for growth… Football teams and their admirers are hip hooraying in the High Schools and Colleges. I’m hoping as this day ends…we will get inspired to move forward…to evolve from what we have been and where we have been. Growth is all too important for our nation. It doesn’t have to be big or glamorous…it just needs to be growth…not just commercial…but personal growth. As for me…I have alot of growing left to do. Let the journey begin!:)

Country Girl with Style…

Got your tickets to see Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler on May 1st? Yes? Good.

Do you know what you’re going to wear? No? Great! Let us help you out!

We have a few items in store that will help to make sure that you are the prettiest Country Girl out there!

From the Blue Chair Bay line (inspired by Kenny Chesney), these cute cowboy hats have the perfect pink accents, and even feature a guitar pick. For only $48.95 (cheaper than a concert ticket!!), these hats are a definite steal! Casual, comfortable and cool – what more could you want?

These cute little cropped leather cowboy boots ($145) from Zigi are perfect for your feet. Whether you wear them with a dress or just jeans, your feet will be comfortable as you dance the night away.

Okay, so we have you dress from top to bottom, but what about the middle?

Nothing screams country more than a plaid shirt. Take it a step further with this fitted one from For Love and Liberty ($143). Pair it with a pair of skinny jeans (like these Skinny Horizon Jeans from MOTO, $72) tucked into your cowboy boots and you’ll be set!
