I don’t know about the rest of you…but Black Friday seems to have become a one heck of a craziness!….
All the big box stores are finding a way to “out do” the other by holding sales events at crazy hours….thus driving the Black Friday masses to go to great lengths to participate in these “special sales events”.
Maybe that’s not where the “real” action is…maybe the “real” action is in the privately owned business down the street that TRULY has some good deals going on….and will certainly be appreciative of your hard earned dollars.
Maybe we should start an anti-black friday club?…naahh…it would never work…let the masses go to the big box….then the rest of us can really enjoy our moments at our favorite places!

Finally….officially Fall is here!….(sigh). Boot fanatics everywhere are planning how they will wear last year’s favorite pair and this year’s new styles.
Leather ankle motorcyle style boot
Tips for Wearing Ankle Boots
- Choose your heel height wisely. For most of us, flat ankle boots will be a more practical option than their high-heeled counterparts. For fancier occasions, ultra high-heeled platform booties are a stylish, showstopping option.
- Notice the rise. Ankle boots can hit at, below, or slightly above your ankle. Though all of these rises can work with pants or leggings, getting the rise-to-leg ratio right with skirts and dresses can be a little confusing. It doesn’t have to be! For the most part, the higher the rise of the boots, the shorter your skirt or dress should be. Boots with a higher rise paired with a longer skirt shortens the look of your legs.

One of today’s hottest trends is pairing a basic utilitarian pair of cropped cargos with a great heel (usually in a more neutral color). The pairing of something with such an accepting cut/fit and heels will add much class and a hint of casual sexiness to your look.
Here are a few tips on what to pair with each style of cargo pants:
For loose/cuffed cargo pants – go with a strappy heel to show off the gorgeous calves that you have and make your legs look a mile long. Every head will turn in your direction.
For straight leg or super skinny cargos – you can’t go wrong with a heel that has a hint of bling, they play nicely off of each other. Don’t over do it though, these Nicole sandals would be perfect!
When you’re wearing a cargo with more of a hint of volume and slouch, try wearing a chunky wedge to balance out the volume. This style is great if you’re a little self-conscious about your body as it disguises whatever parts of your body you might be a little worried about.
We have some great XCVI cropped cargo pants in store that will be perfect for whatever look you decide to pull off. Stop in today and check out our selection (we get more and more in everyday).
We also just got some great new items in from Yummie Tummie and Hard Tail!
